About the role
As a Full Time Unarmed Mobile Patrol Security Officer in Fredericksburg, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, assist patients, visitors, and staff with exceptional customer service, and communicate observations using computer or tablet tools. Bring integrity, reliability, and a caring, team-focused approach while contributing to a welcoming environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout healthcare facilities, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and wayfinding, and report unusual conditions or policy concerns to site leadership.
- Help to deter unauthorized activity through a professional presence, observation, and timely reporting of security-related incidents.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
