About the role
As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Mobile Patrol Driver in Commercial Point, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Retail/Malls and more. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to retail location clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail sales floor, stock areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and support a welcoming shopping environment.
- Monitor access points and observe customer and employee activity for potential loss prevention concerns, reporting observations according to site procedures.
- Document incidents, patrols, and security-related activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
