Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Mobile Patrol Driver

About the role

As a Full Time Unarmed Mobile Patrol Driver in Orlando, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more. Drive patrol routes, conduct routine inspections, remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. You will help create a welcoming environment through teamwork, integrity, and a caring, reliable approach while meeting Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor for unusual activity, policy violations, hazards, and/or unauthorized access, and report observations to appropriate site contacts.
• Assist with access control, visitor interactions, and documentation of incidents and daily activities in accordance with site procedures.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
