Security Officer - Full Time Unarmed Driving

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Driving Role in Rancho Cordova, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control and site operations. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in the job state and compliance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Deliver exceptional customer service through clear communication, teamwork, integrity, and a caring, reliable approach.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of distribution areas, loading docks, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access to the location by observing entry and exit activity, verifying visitor and delivery credentials as directed, and reporting discrepancies.
• Document patrols, incidents, and observations in accordance with site-specific procedures and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and client representatives.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Security Professional Guard Card preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Qualified applicants with criminal histories considered consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

$21.00 per hour

Wednesday: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM; Thursday: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM; Saturday: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM; Sunday: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
