Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Driving Role

About the role

Allied Universal®, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Full‑Time Unarmed Driving Security Officer in Corpus Christi, TX. You will serve and safeguard clients in various industries, primarily retail/mall environments, by conducting vehicle and foot patrols, maintaining a visible presence, and supporting a welcoming experience for customers and associates. This position requires a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and visitors by carrying out security‑related procedures, location‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout retail sales areas, entrances, parking lots, loading areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Document patrols, incidents, and daily activities accurately and completely in accordance with Allied Universal and location requirements.

Requirements

• At least one year of security‑related experience.
• Valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience (preferred).
• Security Professional Guard Card or license (preferred).
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles (21+ for armed roles).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Successful background investigation and drug screen as required by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment, subject to state and local regulations.

• Friday: 12:00 PM – 10:30 PM
• Saturday: 12:00 PM – 10:30 PM
• Sunday: 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM
