About the Role

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Driver Mobile Patrol in Santa Clara, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a dynamic technology location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients at a technology-focused corporate location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities
• Conduct regular and random patrols of offices, common areas, access points, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and report observations
• Monitor access activity and support visitor, employee, and contractor entry procedures in accordance with site-specific requirements
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting and communicating information to appropriate site contacts
• Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports while collaborating with Allied Universal leadership and client personnel on security-related concerns

Requirements

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements
• At least one year of security-related experience is required
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment

Qualifications

• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred
