Job Description
As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Access Control in San Jose, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas at a data-focused location, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control, and provide exceptional customer service and communication.
What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of the business location, perimeter, access points, and surrounding areas to help identify and report unusual activity.
- Maintain accurate activity logs and report maintenance concerns, policy violations, and security-related incidents promptly to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
Minimum Requirements
- Proof of a high school diploma or GED.
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
