Security Officer Full Time TWIC Patrol Driver

About the role

As a Security Officer Full Time TWIC Patrol Driver in Deer Park, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control activities, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This driving position requires a valid driver's license and TSA-issued TWIC.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to the location by observing personnel and visitor activity, verifying authorization as directed by site procedures, and documenting entries and incidents.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and promptly notifying appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, patrol logs, and incident documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Requirements

• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Pay & Schedule

Pay Rate: $15.50 / Hour

$1,000 hiring bonus

Schedule: Monday 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM, Tuesday 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM, Wednesday 06:00 AM - 12:00 PM, Sunday 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM
