About the Role
As a Security Officer Full Time TWIC Patrol Driver in Orange, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a government location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for visitors and staff. What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and members of the public while carrying out site-specific procedures and emergency response activities at a government location.
- Respond to incidents, public inquiries, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned areas, building exteriors, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and observe visitor activity, reporting unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
- Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and daily logs in accordance with site-specific requirements.
Minimum Requirements
- At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
- A TSA-issued TWIC is required.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
