Security Officer | Full Time Seasonal

About the role

Prevent thefts and fraud in the area of the ski resort, and help ensure a safe and orderly environment for guests and employees. As a customer-focused organization, a crucial part of the role is to get and keep guests.

Responsibilities

• Provide uniform, vehicle, and foot patrol of company property and grounds.
• Provide safety protection of all company property, employees, and guests.
• Serve as a liaison between local authorities and Loon Mountain.
• Assist in the investigations of accidents, injuries, and suspected crimes.
• Complete daily reports, logs, and other required written documents.
• Perform security activities, traffic control, and aid to the public as required (e.g., lost keys, dead batteries).
• Operate vehicles including but not limited to cars and trucks.
• Contribute to team effort by participating in job sharing, assuming responsibility for the cleanliness of the resort, and ensuring the safety of guests and employees.
• Participate in safety meetings and accept diverse assignments.
• Maintain a positive and friendly attitude and demeanor in all internal and external interactions.
• Meet service level objectives and department goals as set forth by an immediate supervisor.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and pass a background screening.
