Security Officer - Full Time

About the role

Responsible for the oversight of safety and security for hotel guests and colleagues. Strong guest service orientation in order to ensure high guest expectations. Respond to guest and colleague emergencies and requests. Act as liaison between security and other hotel departments. Train hotel staff as needed. Other duties may include assisting the front desk and housekeeping as needed with guest requests and concerns. Provide guests with a safe and caring environment and ensure interactions with guests result in a positive experience. Support other operating departments as needed.

Requirements

• Security experience in an upscale environment is preferred
• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to thrive in a team oriented environment
• Capable of standing for long periods of time and constantly walking for patrols
• Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Unafraid of customer service related tasks and responsibilities
• Proficient in basic computer skills
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays, first and second shift
• Committed to delivering a high level of customer service
