Security Officer Full Time Retail Vehicle Patrol

About the role

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a premier commercial real estate location in Calabasas, CA, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to alarms, and deliver exceptional customer service. This driving position supports a welcoming environment through clear communication, teamwork, and integrity while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and caring culture.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and employees by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, common areas, parking facilities, exterior grounds, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services when needed.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the property, helping to deter unauthorized entry and support a professional, welcoming environment.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain clear communication with site management, Allied Universal leadership, and applicable personnel regarding incidents and security-related observations.

Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• Valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Alarm panel experience preferred.
• Security Professional Guard Card preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds preferred.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

$19.25 / hour

• Wednesday: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Thursday: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Friday: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Saturday: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM
