About the role

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol - Weekday Swing Shift in Hillsboro, OR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic logistics and distribution location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, monitor assigned areas, and provide exceptional customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, drivers, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, delivery-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of loading areas, parking lots, access points, trailer yards, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to the location by observing employee, visitor, and vehicle activity; follow site procedures for visitor screening, credential verification, and access control.
• Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation in accordance with site-specific policies and Allied Universal procedures.

Requirements

• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay

Pay Rate: $18.92 / Hour

• Tuesday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Wednesday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Thursday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Friday: 02:00 PM - 09:00 PM
