About the role

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol - Secret Clearance Required in San Diego, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating information through established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, visitor authorization, and/or contractor entry in accordance with site requirements and applicable procedures.
• Document patrol observations, incidents, and security-related activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Requirements

• Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
