Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Driver Badge Operations in Wilmington, DE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, and maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents. This driving position offers the opportunity to deliver outstanding customer service, communicate clearly with employees and visitors, and support security-related operations.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, spills, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following site-specific protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, production areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity, unauthorized access, and potential hazards.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor credentials, maintain required logs, and report irregularities to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Observe required personal protective equipment and site entry requirements while performing assigned duties in varying indoor and outdoor conditions.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
