Security Officer Full Time Patrol Operations

About the role

As a Full Time Patrol Operations Security Officer in De Soto, KS, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom. You will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication at a technology, media, and telecommunications location.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of office spaces, common areas, parking areas, loading zones, and the business perimeter to identify and report unusual conditions or security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures; report unauthorized access attempts, suspicious activity, and policy violations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, following established protocols and contacting emergency services or site leadership as needed.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required activity logs, incident documentation, and shift communications.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 18 years of age (21+ for armed roles).
• Subject to a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment.
• Licensing requirements vary by state/local laws and may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Pay

$22.28 per hour.
