Security Officer Full Time Patrol Driver Documentation

About the role

As a Full Time Patrol Driver Security Officer in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, help deter incidents, and support access control activities. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a secure environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors at a manufacturing and industrial location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, warehouses, office spaces, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, documenting entries, exits, and/or incidents as required.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and following established response procedures.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports related to patrols, observations, incidents, and other security-related activities.

Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• Valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet (preferred).
• Access control and badge experience (preferred).
• Customer service experience (preferred).
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

• Saturday: 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sunday: 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM
