About the role
As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Driver in Anacortes, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate at a chemical and petrochemical refinery location.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of refinery buildings, process areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations, while following site-required protective equipment requirements.
- Monitor for and promptly report unusual conditions, unauthorized activity, damaged barriers, spills, releases, and other security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and communication protocols.
- Aid with access control activities, visitor and contractor screening, and documentation of patrols, incidents, and observations.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
