Security Officer Full Time Patrol Associate
About the role
As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Associate in Cleveland, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation and reporting of unusual activity.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter grounds to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious behavior.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, help to enforce location rules, and communicate with hospital personnel and/or emergency responders when needed.
- Document incidents, observations, and security-related concerns in a clear and timely manner, and report maintenance issues, hazards, and/or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licenses are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Qualifications
