What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating relevant details to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, data-sensitive areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points, check credentials when required, and assist with visitor and contractor traffic in support of site rules and daily operations.
- Complete routine reports, maintain awareness of site activity, and support assigned post orders as working environments and conditions vary by location.
Minimum Requirements
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
