Security Officer Full Time Overnight Retail Patrol Driver

About the role

Allied Universal is seeking an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location in San Diego, CA, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control. This driving position requires a valid driver's license. Deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while working with a caring, reliable team that acts with integrity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, common areas, parking facilities, exterior grounds, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, vendor, and contractor activity in accordance with property procedures; report unusual conditions to appropriate personnel
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site-specific response protocols
• Prepare clear and accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and patrol documentation, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and property representatives

Requirements

• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment

Qualifications

• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred
• Customer service experience is preferred
• Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred

Pay

Pay Rate: $22.39 / Hour

Schedule

Full Time. Shift schedule: Tuesday through Saturday, 10:00 PM - 06:30 AM.
