Security Officer Full Time Overnight Driver

As a Security Officer Full Time Access Control Driver in Monroe Township, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a government location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for authorized visitors and personnel. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and authorized personnel while carrying out site-specific access control procedures, government location policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and authorization, manage visitor access, and maintain accurate access-related logs and records.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Communicate observed concerns, unauthorized access attempts, and unusual activity to appropriate personnel and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, building areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity; working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay

$18.50 per hour.
