Security Officer Full Time Overnight Driver

As a Security Officer Full Time Overnight Driver in Vandalia, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer, you will conduct routine patrols across assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, document observations, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. You will deliver exceptional customer service and communication while supporting a welcoming environment through teamwork, integrity, reliability, agility, and innovation at Allied Universal.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out site-specific procedures, security-related policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, delivery-area concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of warehouse, distribution, office, loading dock, parking, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor, vendor, and delivery activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activity, and report security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay

Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour, full-time, paid weekly.
