Security Officer Full Time Observation Patrol

About the role

Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a logistics and distribution location in Brooks, KY. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor assigned areas, and report security-related concerns. Deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a caring, reliable team that values integrity, innovation, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, delivery-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of loading areas, vehicle parking areas, trailer yards, access points, and the business perimeter.
• Monitor access to the location, verify authorized personnel and visitors, and report unusual activity or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities in accordance with site-specific procedures.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay

$18.00 per hour.

• Monday: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
• Tuesday: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
• Wednesday: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
• Thursday: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
• Friday: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
