Security Officer Full Time Patrol Observation

About the role
As an Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service to tenants and visitors. You will communicate clearly, respond to concerns, and support a welcoming environment while demonstrating our agile, reliable, innovative, caring, team-oriented, and integrity-driven values.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or property management personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating information to the appropriate personnel as directed by site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial office areas, building entrances, parking facilities, common areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site policies, helping to maintain an orderly environment for occupants and guests.
- Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required activity logs for patrol observations, incidents, and security-related concerns.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

$17.34 / hour
