Security Officer Full Time Morning

About the role

As a Front Desk Security Professional at a financial institution, you will create a welcoming, professional presence while monitoring access, greeting visitors, and supporting security-related procedures. You will use communication and customer service skills to help address questions, report concerns, and contribute to a secure environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and vendors at a financial institution front desk by following site-specific procedures and access-control protocols.
• Monitor lobby activity, verify visitor identification and appointments, issue visitor credentials, and direct guests to the appropriate location.
• Answer incoming calls, maintain visitor and incident logs, and communicate routine information to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Help to deter unauthorized access by observing entry points, reporting unusual activity, and escalating concerns to site contacts and/or emergency services as appropriate.

Requirements

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet (preferred).
• Have customer service experience (preferred).
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws and regulations, which may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
