Security Officer Full Time Morning Access Control

About the role

As a Security Officer (Full Time Unarmed Badge Check Patrol) in Morrisville, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Healthcare. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, support access control, and respond to alarm-related activity. This role involves providing exceptional customer service and clear communication to create a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a healthcare and laboratory location while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility interior, exterior, parking areas, and perimeter to identify unusual conditions and deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, assisting with authorized entry and maintaining awareness of restricted areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and problem-solvingly, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Document patrols, observations, incidents, and security-related concerns accurately and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Subject to a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment.
• Licensing requirements vary by state/local laws and may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using a computer or tablet.
• Access control and badge experience.
• Alarm panel experience.
• Customer service experience.

Pay

$20.00 / hour
