Job Description
As a Security Officer Full Time Mobile Patrol Driver in Sacramento, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming customer experience. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in the job state and compliance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established procedures and reporting requirements.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
- Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports while communicating professionally with store personnel, customers, law enforcement, and emergency responders as needed.
Minimum Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
