As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Monitoring in New York, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for customers and staff. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to customers, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail café location, including entrances, dining areas, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, hazards, policy violations, and maintenance concerns to help support a welcoming environment.
• Assist with access control, opening and closing procedures, and documentation of daily activities, incidents, and observations.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay

$24.00 – $25.00 per hour.

Schedule

Full-time. Shifts run 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM on Monday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
