Security Retail Officer - Full Time

About the role

As a Security Officer – Tactical, physical ability is essential as you will be moving around your entire shift, patrolling environments such as retail stores, airports, detention centers, etc. What matters most in a role like this is your ability to read the environment, anticipate risk, and act accordingly.

Responsibilities

• Patrol sensitive areas to spot any suspicious activity
• Verify identities and control access to secure areas
• React quickly to threats or incidents
• Check the proper functioning of alarms and cameras
• Document incidents and actions taken
• Respond to alarms and conduct on-site checks
• Collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property

Qualifications

• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Be able to provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
• Must have a valid driver's license
• You have a state security license (BSIS Guard Card) and additional 32hr. BSIS security trainings (Additional security trainings can be obtained during the hiring process)
• First aid certification is an asset
• If you have Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience – even better!

Pay & Schedule

Site Location: Mission Viejo, CA

Set schedule: 36-40 hours per week

• 1st Shift: Saturday, 5:30 pm - 12:00 am; Sunday-Monday, 4:30 pm - 12:00 am; Tuesday & Friday, 12:00 pm - 8:30 pm
• 2nd Shift: a) Thursday-Friday, 12:00 am - 8:30 am; b) Saturday-Monday, 3:30 pm - 12:00 am

Competitive hourly wage of $18-$20 / hour (DailyPay is available for GardaWorld employees!)
