As a Security Officer Full Time Licensed Patrol in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a public transportation location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and passengers. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, passengers, employees, and contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities at a public transportation location.
• Respond to incidents, service disruptions, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting security-related activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of transit facilities, platforms, parking areas, perimeter areas, and adjacent property in accordance with site procedures.
• Monitor access points, observe for unusual activity or unauthorized entry, and help to deter prohibited conduct through a professional presence and timely reporting.
• Assist with directing visitors and responding to questions while maintaining awareness of security-related concerns and following established reporting procedures.

Requirements

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Baton certification is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
