Job Description
As a Security Officer Full Time Identity Verification in Somerset, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As a Screener with Allied Universal, you will help support a welcoming, controlled environment by monitoring access points, screening individuals and/or materials, and reporting security-related concerns. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and help maintain orderly operations while representing our agile, reliable, innovative, and caring culture with integrity and teamwork.

What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or employees while carrying out site-specific screening procedures and security-related policies.
- Screen personnel, visitors, packages, and/or property entering or exiting the location in accordance with established procedures.
- Maintain accurate logs and reports of screenings, access activity, incidents, and unusual observations.
Minimum Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licenses may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
