As a Security Officer Full Time Identity Verification in Pontiac, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and provide outstanding customer service. Your visible presence and clear communication will help to deter security-related incidents while supporting a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology location by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, issue and collect visitor badges, and maintain accurate access-related records in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to access-control alarms, unauthorized-entry concerns, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, exits, lobbies, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership, documenting incidents, observations, and policy violations in required reports.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

$18.68 / Hour

DayTime: Monday 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM, Tuesday 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM, Wednesday 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM, Saturday 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM, Sunday 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM
