Job Description
As a Security Officer Full Time Hospital Patrol in Westlake, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to staff, patients, visitors, and vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access guidelines, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points, visitor flow, and restricted areas while following post orders and reporting unusual conditions, maintenance issues, and/or policy violations.
- Support a professional environment by giving directions, assisting with routine questions, and reporting security-related incidents involving patients, visitors, staff, and/or property.
Minimum Requirements
- Hospital vaccines are required.
- Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
- CPR and/or First Aid is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
