Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Hospital Patrol in Westlake, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal in a dynamic healthcare location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff with outstanding customer service and communication.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to staff, patients, visitors, and vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access guidelines, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, visitor flow, and restricted areas while following post orders and reporting unusual conditions, maintenance issues, and/or policy violations.
• Support a professional environment by giving directions, assisting with routine questions, and reporting security-related incidents involving patients, visitors, staff, and/or property.

Minimum Requirements

• Hospital vaccines are required.
• Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• CPR and/or First Aid is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
