About the role

As a Security Officer Full Time Hospital Driver Patrol in Mayfield Heights, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a healthcare location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to concerns, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication to patients, visitors, and staff. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities in a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of hospital buildings, patient care areas, entrances, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor directions, access procedures, and reporting of unusual or potentially hazardous conditions.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site personnel.

Requirements

• Must meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Must be able to work in a hospital morgue environment.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Must be able to restrain individuals.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Full Time, Day Shift: Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday — 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM
