Security Officer Full Time Hospital Security Driver

About the role

As a Full Time Hospital Security Driver in Medina, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in healthcare settings. This unarmed patrol position involves conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence to deter incidents, supporting a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff, and providing outstanding customer service. This driving role represents Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, and innovative team while demonstrating integrity, care, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established healthcare location protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the healthcare location, including patient care areas, public spaces, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor for unusual activity, unauthorized access, and conditions that may require reporting or response to deter security-related concerns.
• Assist with access control, visitor management, directions, and escorts as assigned while maintaining a professional and courteous presence.

Requirements

• Must meet hospital vaccine requirements.
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
• Valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

$21.00 / hour

• Wednesday: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Thursday: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Friday: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Saturday: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
