Security Officer Full Time Front Desk Visitor Services

About the role

As a Front Desk Officer at a premier retail location, you will serve as a welcoming, visible presence while supporting a professional environment for guests, employees, and vendors. You will monitor access, assist with visitor procedures, communicate observations, and help address security-related concerns.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to clients, guests, and associates at a luxury retail front desk by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Greet and direct visitors, confirm appointments and access authorization, issue visitor credentials as applicable, and maintain professional front-desk communications.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and security-related systems from a stationary post, reporting unusual activity or policy concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner and communicate with site leadership and emergency responders as needed.
• Maintain accurate visitor logs, incident documentation, and other required security-related records while presenting a polished, service-oriented demeanor.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Qualifications

• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Pay

$25.75 / hour

• Monday: 10:30 AM - 07:30 PM
• Wednesday: 10:30 AM - 07:30 PM
• Thursday: 10:30 AM - 07:30 PM
• Friday: 10:30 AM - 07:30 PM
• Sunday: 11:30 AM - 06:00 PM
