Security Officer Full Time Front Desk Services

About the role

As a Front Desk Security Officer at a residential community serving senior residents, you will be the welcoming first point of contact, manage visitor access, monitor entry activity, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism and care. You will provide exceptional customer service, clear communication, and a visible presence that helps support a comfortable environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Monitor access to the residential community from the front desk, greet and direct visitors, verify authorized entry, and maintain visitor records in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to resident concerns, incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Monitor lobby activity, access points, cameras, and communication systems from the assigned station to help deter unauthorized activity and support a welcoming residential environment.
• Complete required reports, logs, and shift communications accurately, including documentation of incidents, visitor activity, and maintenance or access concerns.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
