Security Officer Full Time Front Desk Operations

About the role

As a Front Desk Security Officer at a financial institution location, you will serve as a welcoming, professional presence while supporting access control, visitor management, and alarm response. You will help maintain a secure environment through clear communication, attentive monitoring of security-related activity, and exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional front desk customer service by greeting visitors, employees, and vendors in a professional manner while following site-specific procedures for a financial institution location.
• Monitor access to the facility by verifying visitor credentials, maintaining visitor logs, issuing temporary access credentials, and directing guests to appropriate areas.
• Answer incoming calls, provide general information, and communicate visitor arrivals, access concerns, and other security-related matters to designated personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures and notifying appropriate contacts.
• Maintain accurate reports and records of visitor activity, incidents, and other security-related observations while helping to deter unauthorized access.

Requirements

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
