Security Officer Full Time Front Desk Driver

As a Front Desk Security Professional for a dynamic logistics and distribution location, you will welcome visitors, manage access, monitor security-related activity, communicate with site personnel, and help maintain an orderly environment. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, and employees at a logistics and distribution location by following site-specific procedures and supporting security-related activities.
• Greet visitors, verify identification and access authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate visitor and contractor records.
• Monitor access points, receive deliveries and inquiries, and direct authorized individuals to appropriate areas in accordance with site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to the appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as directed.
• Maintain clear and professional communication with Allied Universal leadership, site personnel, and visitors while documenting security-related observations and incidents.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation and drug screen in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Qualifications

• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
