Security Officer Full Time Front Desk

About the role

As a Security Officer Full Time Front Desk in Apex, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will be the welcoming presence at a professional location, supporting access procedures, visitor assistance, and clear communication. You will help maintain a secure environment through attentive front-desk operations, accurate documentation, and exceptional customer service. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access at the front desk by greeting visitors, verifying credentials, maintaining visitor records and directing guests in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Receive and route calls, communications and deliveries while maintaining accurate logs and promptly reporting unusual activity to the appropriate personnel.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Qualifications

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Pay

$26.00 / Hour

Schedule

Day Time, Monday through Friday, 08:00 AM – 04:00 PM
