About the role

As a Full Time Facility Patrol Security Officer in Huntsville, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Aero/Defense. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a leading aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will support a professional environment through routine rounds, detailed reporting, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, restricted areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for personnel, visitors, and deliveries in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required activity logs for patrols, incidents, access-related events, and other security-related observations.

Requirements

• Possess an active Department of Defense Secret clearance.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay

$20.60 / hour

Schedule

• Day shift: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Monday through Friday
