Security Officer Full Time Armed Security Clearance Patrol
About the role
As a Security Officer Full Time Armed Security Clearance Patrol in Arlington, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, restricted areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and verify credentials for authorized entry to controlled areas in accordance with site-specific requirements.
- Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.
Requirements
- An armed guard card or license is required.
- An active Department of Defense Secret clearance is required.
- Pepper spray certification is preferred.
- Handcuffing certification is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
