About the role
As a Security Officer Armed Security Clearance Full Time Patrol in Manassas, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, data infrastructure areas, parking facilities, access points, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and/or policy violations.
- Maintain required armed patrol certifications, equipment, and documentation while following applicable laws, Allied Universal policies, and client site procedures.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
- Monitor access control points and verify credentials and authorization for personnel, visitors, deliveries, and/or contractors in accordance with site requirements.
Requirements
- Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
- Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
