Security Officer Full Time Experienced

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and delivery personnel at the front desk of a food and beverage manufacturing location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Manage visitor reception activities, including greeting guests, verifying identification and authorization, issuing visitor credentials, and maintaining accurate visitor logs in accordance with site procedures.
• Monitor access to the facility through the front desk, direct authorized personnel to appropriate areas, and report access concerns or unusual activity to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
• Answer incoming calls, provide clear directions and information, receive deliveries as directed, and maintain professional communication with personnel and visitors.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting and escalating security-related incidents according to site procedures.

Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfortable use of a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
