Security Officer Full Time Entry Authorization Driver

About the Role

As a Security Officer Full Time Entry Authorization Driver in Baldwinsville, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries, particularly in the food and beverage sector. This role involves monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, managing visitor access, and maintaining an orderly environment while providing outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and drivers at a food and beverage production location by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, issue visitor badges or passes as directed, and maintain accurate entry and exit records.
• Control vehicle and pedestrian access at gates, docks, and designated entrances, following site procedures for deliveries, contractors, and outbound traffic.
• Respond to access-control incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, business areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized access and report unusual conditions.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Qualifications

A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay

Pay Rate: $18.11 / Hour

• Tue: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sat: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Sun: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
