About the role

As a Security Guard Full Time Entry Authorization Driver in Frisco, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries, including residential communities. In this access‑control officer position you will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and respond to alarms or security‑related concerns while maintaining a professional, welcoming presence and providing outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, visitors, and vendors by carrying out site‑specific access‑control procedures, policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify visitor and vendor authorization, maintain access logs, and communicate relevant access‑related information to site contacts.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, access‑control issues, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of residential common areas, entry points, parking areas, and the perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.
• Document incidents, observations, and daily activities accurately, and report maintenance, access‑control, or security‑related concerns according to site procedures.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Alarm panel experience (preferred).
• A Guard Card or license (preferred).
• Access control and badge experience (preferred).
• Customer service experience (preferred).
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation and drug screen as required by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment, depending on state or local regulations.

Pay

$16.00 per hour

Schedule

Daytime – Monday through Sunday, 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
