Job Description
As a Security Officer Full Time Access Authorization Driver in Monroe, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a utilities location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to utility personnel, contractors, and visitors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Maintain accurate access logs and visitor records, issue and recover temporary credentials, and report discrepancies through established procedures.
- Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate personnel when needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned facilities, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Minimum Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
