Security Officer Full Time Emergency Dispatcher

About the role

As a Dispatch Security Professional at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor communications and systems, coordinate responses to security-related incidents, maintain detailed records, and provide clear, professional support to onsite teams and visitors. Your presence will help deter incidents while delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor dispatch communications, receive calls for service, document incidents, and coordinate the appropriate response with on-site personnel and/or emergency services.
• Maintain accurate logs, activity reports, access-related records, and other dispatch documentation in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to the appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help identify unusual activity, hazards, and/or policy concerns.

Requirements

• Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

$19.00 / Hour

Schedule

• Day shift: Monday–Friday, 07:00 AM – 03:00 PM
