Security Officer Full Time Driver Patrol

About the role

As a Full Time Driver Patrol Security Officer near Clinton, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Retail/Malls. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, support access control, and deliver outstanding customer service. This driving position offers the opportunity to assist visitors, communicate clearly, and respond to concerns with professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, shoppers, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the retail property, including common areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations, to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and contacting appropriate personnel or emergency services as needed.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the property; report unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations to site management or Allied Universal leadership.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation in accordance with site requirements.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants will be subject to a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment.

$20.00 / Hour

• Tuesday: 10:30 PM - 06:30 AM
• Thursday: 10:30 PM - 06:30 AM
• Friday: 10:30 PM - 06:30 AM
• Saturday: 10:30 PM - 06:30 AM
